Students from The University of Newcastle, Australia, recently completed a two-week immersive experience with staff and students at Sangam College of Nursing and Health Care Education in Vanua Levu. During their stay, the visiting students gained valuable insights into nursing education in the Pacific region, participating in various clinical and community health activities. They were particularly impressed by the unique challenges and approaches to healthcare in this setting, including the integration of traditional practices with modern medical techniques. This cross-cultural exchange fostered mutual learning and enhanced their appreciation for the diversity and adaptability required in global health care.
